Well, I finally took the plunge and set up a Blogger account (which is obviously what you are reading now).<br /><br />Firstly, just what does Hullabazoo mean? Personally, I have no idea! All I know is that I needed a stupid sounding name for a <a href="http://www.blogger.com/bob.sihe.ac.uk/%7Ep42441/project/P1/">university project</a> that included the word zoo and the name just stuck.<br /><br />This isn't my first blog - that has the honour of being on LiveJournal, but nobody re</span><span style="font-family: verdana;font-family:arial;" >ad it <img src="http://smilies.vidahost.com/cwm/3dlil/ugh.gif" />. Admittedly, it was pretty rubbish, being just some way for me to tell everyone what I was having for tea that night (seriously, I took a picture of some Fish &amp; Chips - you should have seen the response!).<br /><br />I also have a MySpace account (which can, incidentally, be found <a href="http://www.myspace.com/optimaximal"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">here</span></a>). I rarely bother with it either, but that's largely down to the amount of spam I kept getting from some nubile young Russian women (who may or may not have had male genitalia) offering me cyber-sex if I added them as a friend. How... lovely? <img src="http://smilies.vidahost.com/cwm/3dlil/eek13.gif" /><br /><br />Anyway, who am I? Vital Statistics? <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A/S/L">A/S/L</a> lol? My name is Andrew, I have an X and a Y chromosome and I'm from the fair county of Somerset, UK (ok, you caught me - I'm actually from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wales">Wales</a>, but that's a long story </span><span style="font-family: verdana;font-family:verdana;" title="Click to hilight and copy" class="" ><img src="http://smilies.vidahost.com/cwm/3dlil/eek4.gif" /></span><span style="font-family: verdana;font-family:arial;" >).<br /><br />By day, I drive a Ford and work as an I.T. Technician for a growing mail-order-retail-company that distributes (amongst other things) the <s>fad</s> craze that are <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocs">Crocs</a>. By night, I divide my time between my partner Becki, decorating our new house (pictures forthcoming) and the 8th wonder of the wo</span><span style="font-family:arial;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">rld - teh intarclick.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: verdana;">Other endeavours include lots of computer gaming (</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-family: verdana;">PC</span><span style="font-family: verdana;"> gaming none-the-less, none of that console shash) &amp; web-design (4 years worth of degree in it!). I'm a heavy believer in free (as in free beer) software and the wonderful </span><a style="font-family: verdana;" href="http://www.ubuntu.com/">Ubuntu </a><span style="font-family: verdana;">has overtaken XP as the primary platform on my ageing Sony VAIO laptop (although 'ageing' doesn't describe half of it).</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: verdana;">Anyway, that's enough meandering for the moment.
